MSHA Cites Industry Compliance Efforts in Announcing Mining Fatalities Dropped Significantly in 2015

Earlier this year, the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) announced that U.S. mining deaths dropped significantly in 2015. The mining industry’s compliance efforts as well as coal mine closures are credited with the decrease in fatalities.
